WOW I had a hard time getting a connection rate that was decent. One time I connected at 9.6 another at 14.4 another 26.4, then back to 9.6, then there were busy signals, and no answer messages, it was a bad day and evening. Also, when I did connect at the above mentioned speeds, The connection would degrade to a point where I would get no further data transfer. AND YES I DID REBOOT EVERY FEW MINUTES AND TRY AGAIN!!!!!
That is the frustrating part about the internet. The amount of time it takes to make sure that the problem is not originating on my end, or the telephone company, or internet traffic.
I really think that the number I was dialing was overloaded with callers. I made no adjustments to my computer yet things are fine today (46.6 Connection).
All I wanted to do was update my anti-virus program, but it was imposible with the poor connections.
