If this is still persisting, there are many reasons this can be happening. First off, dialing and connecting to our logon server does not mean you are logged on. The "hand shake" or authentication must now take place. If this does not happen, no logon. Some reasons for the handshake not to complete sometimes, may be a noisy or poor phone line connection at that time, a bad or corrupt dialup networking service on your computer (may need to remove and reinstall), modem software or firmware issues (do you have the latest for your modem), a bad or corrupt or misconfigured TCP/IP protocol on your computer (which may need to be removed and reinstalled), other network protocols or bindings or dialup adapters causing conflicts. All these things can cause problems, all the time or intermittently and through something you may have done or by "gremlins" in the computer. There may be no rhyme or reason and you will have to go through and check these things to resolve the issue.
