CPSC, an independent Federal regulatory agency, helps keep American families safe by reducing the risk of injury or death from consumer products. Visit us often to share lifesaving information.

Home Safety Council    

Safety and health are essential to the good life that we wish for all our neighbors, but each year thousands of Americans are injured at home. In 1993 we founded Home Safety Council to help prevent the waste, pain, and cost of these home injuries. Home Safety Council channels funds and effort into a variety of charitable and educational projects. Members of the council include national safety-related organizations, manufacturers, and notable individuals who have the desire and ability to contribute to this effort. By working with local fire departments, school systems, and other community organizations, Home Safety Council is helping our neighbors make their homes into safe havens for themselves and their loved ones.

Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition (HFSC) provides independent information about the life and property saving benefits of home fire sprinklers.

Residential Fire Safety Institute (RFSI)   

The Residential Fire Safety Institute (RFSI) is a public interest group created in 1982 to promote fire-safe homes through built-in fire protection and fire safety education.
